New York, New York (via Kansas City, Des Moines, Iowa, and Portland, Oregon), United States
I'm from Kansas. I lived in Iowa for a few years and then I lived in Portland, Oregon. Now, I call New York City home. I stay up way too late and sleep way too little. I love NPR. I procrastinate. I hold my friends close, my family closer. I people-watch and eavesdrop. I can play Hindemith on the flute if requested. I'm always looking for a good book, great new music, and live shows. I like falafel. I love yoga, so I stand on my head often. I drink a lot of chai. I also drink a lot of beer. I love a good Midwest thunderstorm. I don't particularly like to sit down and write, but I do love to have written. I think life's too short to be doing anything you don't truly enjoy. Oh, and yes, I'm a Kansas City Royals fan. It's the hardest job in major league baseball, but I'm never one to shirk from a challenge.
